Version 17 of Premier Guarantee standards sets out the technical requirements for the design and construction of buildings covered under our warranty.

This technical manual should be used on projects quoted from the 1st January 2026.

Changes to version 17 include:

  • Simplified Functional Requirements
  • A refreshed portrait layout
  • The reintroduction of Performance Requirements to support the Functional Requirements, ensuring greater clarity around our warranty expectations.

Additionally, we have introduced two new sections:

  1. Section 21: MMC Systems, which provides guidance on Volumetric Systems, Closed Panel Systems, Structural 
  2. Insulated Panels (SIPs), and Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), as well as our system acceptance process.
  3. Section 22: Conversions and Retained Elements, which offers more comprehensive information and has been expanded from an appendix to a full section
